To view the code of any gadget go to http://www.google.com/ig/directory?synd=open, select the gadget you’re interested in and the url will display the xml file it uses
e.g.
http://www.google.com/ig/directory?synd=open&num=24&url=http://ralph.feedback.googlepages.com/googlemap.xml
Take the xml path
http://ralph.feedback.googlepages.com/googlemap.xml
This can be loaded into the scratchpad and the code edited
